Tears reflect against the wall,
drawing pictures of the stars,
as you find your salvation through the edge of a blade & the bottom of your heart.
The light of the stars,
dying out,
bleeding out,
reaching out,
crying out,
leaving your heart to wander in the darkness of despair for the rest of your existence.
Now I lay suspended in silence,
for my time is over & yours is just beginning.
Make space for a new star as the winds weave into my soul.

This album is pretty majestic and magnifique.
To Drown in Bleeding Hope is a gloomy paean to the search of meaning in nature when none can be found in society. The album's generic elements cannot go without mention, but the effective atmosphere and set of memorable compositions make Veldes' debut to the world a strong step in the right direction. Jordan Vauvert
Utterly indescribable new record from Greek metal band Locust Leaves features corkscrewing tempos, manic vocal shifts & dense arrangements. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 6, 2017

Jordan Vauvert
